"I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me."
The Racial Reconciliation Network is a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry responding to the gospel’s call for Christian unity among believers, so that Christ will be more fully known.
One of the primary areas of disunity in the American church is racial. Our history of colonialism, slavery, segregation, and other various forms of racism have hindered the church from displaying the love and unity towards each other that are meant to be identifying characteristics of Christians. This failure on our part has contributed to the racial hostility we continue to see in our country today.
In an expression of repentance and reconciliation, this network has been established to help the racially divided church become internally reconciled.
In addition to this, we recognize the biblical instruction for believers to “do justice, love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8). In response, we resolve to advocate and bring relief to those who are unjustly harmed by racism.
We invite you to join us on this reconciliation journey, in order to exalt Christ in our unity.
Uniting churches to conquer racism and do justice with a Christ-centered approach.
To create a network of pastors, churches, small groups and businesses committed to Christ- centered and cross-racial ministry partnership.
As we attempt to come together there will be differences of opinions and beliefs. There will be deep seeded thought patterns, long held assumptions and stereotypes to confront. In all the sensitivity of these subjects we hope that focusing on Christ's calling and the healing He spoke into a divided world allows us to move through these topics in relationship with each other. In the context of relationships where grace and humility are foundational, we can discuss the pain of racial injustice, denominational division and other barriers to unity, not in fear, but in power and with purpose.
To pursue and invite pastors, lay leaders, churches, small groups and businesspeople to intentionally network together for greater racial unity within the Christian community.
Provide resources to equip Christians to understand racism and the biblical solution to it. (Our website, Facebook community, YouTube, podcast).
Assemble a team of speakers to preach, teach, train, facilitate, and meditate on the subject of racial reconciliation.
Host and/or facilitate workshops, local & regional seminars & conferences, small groups, pastor coaching and church and business partnerships.
Network with and promote other Christ-centered ministries pursuing racial reconciliation.
Do justice by identifying injustice, oppression and systemic racism in our communities and by advocating and serving those being disadvantaged.
